I enjoy using the very effective strategies and mindset of Compassionate Communication, also known as Non-Violent Communication (NVC). Along with a variety of other tools, including mindfulness, breath work and cognitive therapy, I can create personally tailored sessions to suit your particular needs.

As well as being a coach and counsellor, I have a background in performing, writing, and teaching, particularly in personal development, voice and communication, and creative writing. For many years I was part of a music and theatre troupe writing and performing original productions. These highlighted social justice, work life balance, mental health and personal empowerment issues. I have recorded a couple of CDs and another one is on the way,

While studying, my final Masters paper discussed the relationship between self-esteem and productive creativity. This in-depth research influences my counselling today.

I love understanding how things work, how things change and how we can use this knowledge to build more fulfilling lives and kinder communities. I would love to work with you.
